I’d love to say that we had this great “long” weekend where we dusted ceiling fans and vacuumed wall vents, followed by lying in the sun watching the girls frolic around our yard. However, I am the wife of an Air Traffic Controller. Weekends on Fridays and Saturdays don’t exist and Holidays are not usually celebrated (unless you consider a bigger paycheck for working on the given holiday a celebration).
However, all of that said, we were still able to thoroughly enjoy our 7th Annual BBQ with the Jovles. The Moehring’s, Lindner’s, and the Park’s were also in attendance which added to the fun. The weather could not have been better. This year there were three (super cute) girls playing at the park. Next year? We almost double it, putting the number to five little girls—what a sassy and fun little bunch we are sure to have :)
