Mallory is set on capturing the perfect puppy picture.  Poor Lucy.  Snuggles and ear scratches from Mallory she is all for, but from the look on her face, she appears not the slightest bit interested in the camera.

Oh Look!!! Here comes my favorite big sister!! HI!!!

Wait. She has that stupid camera. Again. Why does she always have to take my picture. Enough is enough already. When did she become the paparazzi?
Maybe if I pretend I don’t see her she will go away.

Nope. Guess not. Fine, but this is the last one. You want me to say cheese? I highly doubt my first word is going to be cheese, but whatever… I know I know it’s a fake smile.

Put. The. Camera. Away.

This is all your getting. I’m done.

Hey. Is she gone? Good. Now if I can just figure out how to break this camera I wouldn’t have to worry about it being shoved in my face all day long.

Maybe a little drool will do the trick.

Taking her self portrait skill to a whole new level.

Self Portrait

You love to do it. You know you do. Mallory figured out that if she turns the camera around she can attempt to take a picture of herself. However, it took her several attempts at perfecting the fine art of taking a self portrait.

Mallory received a Kid Tough digital camera for Christmas from my sister. It is a real digital camera with the ability to hold 500 pictures on its memory card and then can be downloaded to the computer. To say Mallory enjoys her new camera is an understatement. By the time the camera was a mere two hours old she had taken 110 pictures. Christmas day, a clean memory card, when it was all said and done, we downloaded 285 pictures. Some of the pictures are spot on, some are blurry (due to the photographer being a 3 footer always on the go), and some are too dark. More than anything they are super funny. Since above all this blog is a journal of memories for my kids, I have to post some of my favorites that she has taken. For the most part these posts will come "wordless". Just think of it as looking at the day through Mallory's eyes.
