"Learn as you go"
I have a very vivid memory of our honeymoon (heads out of the gutters--this blog is PG). We were sitting on the beach in St. Petersburg, it was sunset, and we had a piece of hotel notebook paper in our hand. We sat there, so young and newly in love, writing out our goals for where we wanted to be in one year, five years, and ten years. These goals were both financial (of course they would be, I married Brent) and familial (in other words when are the babies coming!?!). We jotted it all down, packed it away with us, and thought we had it all figured out. To us, on that day, we thought we had our future all mapped out. HA! Wow. We have learned so much about life, money, love, dogs, pregnancy, moving trucks, babies, packing, unpacking to only pack it all back up again 1 year later, toddlers (God help us)...and so much more. I have learned to love this lesson of learning as you go--but only for the sole reason of having my husband next me to learn together. I would not be the woman, wife, or mother I am today without him next to me as the man, husband and father he is. What a journey, and to think we are only 1/10th of the way to 50 years.
Happy Anniversary Honey! I love you--thanks for making it always "Feel like Home" no matter where we find ourselves...
Enough sappy stuff. Let's look at how fun the wedding was!

Happy Anniversary!! Such a fun day we had 1,823 days ago. Feels like yesterday you were sticking your head out the window of the car on our way to get our hair done yelling to everyone, "I'm getting married today!!!" hehe
