This and That...

Mallory has always been curious, always wanted to help, and I usually allow the help and within reason encourage her to help out. A mom can never help but wish and hope that this stage will last forever. I know there will be days when she is 11 and throwing her clothes all over her floor and wanting nothing to do with household chores that I will be longing for the days gone by where she was so eager to help.

Today as we folded laundry she decided she was going to try on the clothes instead of help fold them...

I am not sure how Brent feels about me showing the world his boxer briefs--especially his sexy red pair...oh well :)

Big Girl Room!

I also promised I would post pictures of the new big girl room. **Quick side note** Today was our first day getting out of the bed instead of taking a nap...skipping naps sucks. (As we speak she is fast asleep and its only 7:25 pm.)

I took quite a few pictures because I am loving this room. This has been a part of my imagination since Mallory was 10 months old. A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us paint their walls. What do you think???

With help from Kate I took these animal pictures that came out of a book that Mallory pulled apart a long time ago. I saved the pages knowing I wanted to hang them in her room when she moved to a bed. The colors are great, the pictures are super cute and the whole thing suits Mallory so well.
