Garden Update!

I went out to the garden today and snapped some pictures of the progress. Now if garden sprouts bore you--move on--check in another day :)

It is hard for me to believe that these plants are going to be waist high at some point. I am excited and they are only a few inches out of the ground! The peas are the most impressive. They are leafy and they grow super fast. The cucumbers are coming in great too--I think we are going to be eating lots and lots of cucumbers this summer. Feel free to share any sort of recipe that includes cucs. The pumpkins have been really fun to watch sprout. The leaves are really big so you could see them sprout even before they popped up from the dirt--I think I am most excited to see a little pumpkin form more than anything.

I guess we still have about a month (at least) before we can even begin to think about "plating" our veggies.

Peas--they are standing about 4 inches off the ground

Pumpkins--Not super tall but the leaves are big compared to the other plants

OK, that is it on the garden until something else exciting happens, or I get enough requests to warrant another post! Enjoy the weekend!!!!

Glad the garden is growing so well. I am pretty excited to try your fresh peas, if you have enough to share a few with me! I have some rhubarb if you would like some! Talk to you later!

Thanks for the update. This is the closest I've been to gardening!! Waist high by the Forth of July....or is that just corn?
