The Eid's Have It

Ahhhhh It's bedtime. I love Mallory to the moon and back...but I love bedtime. I love how quiet the house is. I love that I can eat a snack and not have to share it. I love putting the TV on and not worrying about if it has been on too long...ahhhh its all so great. There is a summer thunderstorm brewing as I type which is sending poor Lucy into sheer delirium. The poor thing shakes like a leaf whenever thunder rolls.

Brent is up at Sandy Lake with the boyz this weekend. Watch out--5-30 year old guys hoping to catch some fish and relax. I hope the fish bite, the weather holds out and that I don't get any phone calls like I did when they were all snowboarding. (Let's just hope that we keep the injury report under 50%)

Mallory and I met Molly, Caleb, Ava, and Grandma Debbie at a park on Wednesday. The weather was great and the kids had a blast! I love seeing the kids play together as they get older. Ava tends to still toddle about set on her own schedule--but watch out because one day that girl is going to be the ring leader! We had a picnic which is always interesting with kids 3 and under. They would take a few bites, go play, come back take a few more bites.

I have had a few requests (yes more than one--Thanks Robin AND Wendy) for updates on the garden. Everything is sprouting--and growing even! Its a daily topic of conversation for us here at the Crandall house... I'll take some pictures to show you what it looks like.
