You are cordially invited to a Friday night sleepover at our house. Our five year old gets off the bus at 4:15pm. It would be in your best interest if you would be here around that time. You are sure to see her bounce off the bus and fall into a puddle of “woe’s me’s”
She usually cries when snack isn’t promptly served.
She usually weeps when it is time to come inside after a few precious minutes of
Bring your appetite because by the time dinner is served our Kindergartener can barely function enough to eat what is served. If she is given a choice as to what she wants to eat, she will sniffle and cry through trying to decide what to eat. If your favorite is the same as hers, in the moment of dinner time, she may not even like what was once her favorite. It makes for such a relaxing dinner hour…
Excited yet? Just wait.
Staying for the entire night, means you get to experience bedtime on Friday nights. If I could, I would insert a giant *chicken dance* right now. I really would. Just for you. Bedtime on Friday is so.much.fun. She usually whines right up until the exact right story is picked out. When the book is finished she snuggles in bed and I tell her that I love her, no matter what. And if I am really lucky, she will look up to me and say “Even when I am cranky on these days?” Yep. Even when you are cranky, but lights out means lights out and you best sleep for a long time so you sleep the crankies away…
Friday Fun Day and You are invited. Are you in?
