I was on the phone with my mother in law Debbie this morning when I heard something banging around on the deck. I snuck over to take a look and I see a squirrel scratching at the screen door as if he was asking to be let in.
Amazed, because it’s not everyday a squirrel wants to be invited in for Sunday morning coffee, I told Debbie what was going on.
Without missing a beat she says, “Well he wants in because he knows there are a bunch of nuts inside!”
Ba-dump-bump-ching! What a great line!! She gave me a good laugh (and a blog moment).
I grabbed my camera and caught the squirrel playing around on our deck. He jumped to the light, back to the rail, and then came down and tried knocking on the window.
