First of all, I love this weather! I love fall--I know I know don't wish away summer, Labor Day isn't even here yet, but I can't help but LOVE the lower temps. Not to mention the cooler nighttime temps which makes it that much more snuggly in bed!
We went to check out Lake Elmo Park today. Brent, Mallory and Lucy had never been there and it had been at least 8 years since I have--so off we went. It was so fun! They have a huge playground. Actually, huge doesn't even give justice to how big this playground is. I have never been to a park where I worry about losing Mallory (or my husband for that matter) until this park. Lots of fun--but mostly spent swinging for Mallory. After the park we went and found some trails to trike around on. Is "trike" the right verb? I don't think so, but people say "bike" and use it as a verb. Well anyways I am going to say trike and you all get what I mean. I digress, sorry. Mallory was so proud that she got to ride her trike on the adult trails where big people ride their bikes. She peddled and peddled--this tricylce stuff never gets old. We had to stop a few times for a teddy graham snack that she had stashed in the trunk of her trike. It was a great morning!
We put Mallory down for a nap, relaxed a bit and then headed out on our own anniversary afternoon. We picked up a movie (Juneo-hopefully its good--I'll let ya know in the next blog) to watch, did a little shopping and then went to Outback for dinner. Mmmmmm so good.
All in all it was a great anniversary...now I wonder what we will do on our 10 year anniversary?

Sounds like a nice day. We camp out there a lot. It would be a great place to take her swimming next year:)
