Mal: “Mommy! I see the real moon! Its not the whole moon though??”
Me: “Oh yeah I see it too. It looks like just a sliver of the moon.”
After some time to think…
Mal: “No mommy (in the most 4-year-old-knows-all voice you can imagine) That is a crescent moon.”
Better vocabulary at four then her mom has at thirty one, this can’t be good…
