One man's junk is another man's treasure...

Today was day one of the annual Lions garage sales in Woodbury. Kristen and Cari have gone for years and years together and/or with their family. The past few years I have tagged along as well hoping to score some great deal on baby/toddler stuff. This year I didn't have a ton to buy so I took in the sites and enjoyed the morning out of the house. As we visited garage after garage in search of our bargains we noticed a few odd things. We saw several Big Mouth Billy Bass' for sale--at least four. They were all reasonably priced between $1.50-$3.00.

The winner of the most oddly placed item in a garage sale goes to the family that had their bird cage for sale at the end of the driveway--complete with food, water and their little birdie! How sad is that?!? Imagine what that poor bird thought when outside the cage went, taped with a sign that said $20.00 or best offer, and lined up right next to the old luggage and weird aerobic machine the family was trying to get rid of.

I hope the bird found a nice home by the end of the day.
