Both Brent and I were home today so we spent the day together, along with Mallory, and had so much fun.
We introduced Mallory to the "picnic" today! She was so excited to eat lunch outside. We took a big blanket to the very back of the yard, planted ourselves under the shade of a tree and ate sandwiches and cheez-balls. It was great--very, hmmm Little House on the Prairie-ish. We all took our turn at climbing a tree when we were done eating--which pretty much puts the Ma, Pa and Laura to our picnic lunch. Brent won the "who can climb the highest" award. Mallory won the "cutest tree climber" award. I won (just because I am writing I also get to be a winner) the "way to give it your best effort" award.
Wow Brent you sure are a great tree climber...At least Mallory is in awe.
We are off to the cabin for the next couple days! I hope you all enjoy a relaxing weekend and let's hope the Minnesota weather is nice!
